Artspace is a 21st Century Community Learning Center which provides an interdisciplinary arts experience for children and youth through out the Phoenix area. Created by a partnership between the Herberger College of the Arts, the Arizona Department of Education, the Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture and the Arizona State Library System. Artspace's vision is to establish a new model of educational experience to ensure students are successful in school and can make a positive impact in the community. The purpose of this program is to develop the abilities of students to create, perform and respond to works of art.
Our instructors are a group outstanding Arizona State University Graduate Students from the Herberger College of the Arts, the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and the Global Institute of Sustainability.
